I do not have a photograph for this post, because I want to talk about the VULTURES 2 cover (the first version). I think it goes underappreciated how well designed it is. The background is a good match for the subject, and the subject itself conveys a involkes a complex sense of power. The cover itself matches how ¥$ tried to create a kind of “edgy” music. But, it is probably what Ye belives anyway, so its hard to call it trying to be edgy when it is done on purpose. The album itself is very under par for Ye, with the exception of FIELD TRIP, FRIED, 530, and SKY CITY. They are acceptable songs, but it is hard to listen to them knowing that the vocals used AI filters. Additionally, I think that VULTURES 1 is overhated. There are low lows, like HOODRAT, but there are also plenty of satisfactory songs, like BURN, STARS, DO IT, FUK SUMN, and CARNIVAL (CARNIVAL hate is just a bandwagon; its a pretty good song). Hopefully Ye can get his name back with BULLY.
